Social Worker / Counsellor (Family Violence)

About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Social Worker/Counsellor to join our TRANS SAFE Centre, supporting individuals and families affected by family violence. This contract position offers the opportunity to deliver integrated services within a reputable non‑profit organization in Singapore.
Key responsibilities
- Manage casework and provide counselling for clients with medium to high‑risk family violence concerns.
- Conduct intake, risk assessments and develop intervention plans.
- Design, implement and evaluate programmes that address client needs.
- Facilitate support and psycho‑education group sessions.
- Engage in community outreach, networking and capacity‑building initiatives.
- Conduct research to enhance local knowledge on family violence.
Required profile
- Degree in Social Work.
- 0–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in family violence work.
- Strong command of English and excellent interpersonal communication.
- Team player with integrity, diligence and resilience.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required.
