Software Engineer – AI Systems for Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to develop AI‑driven tools and extensions on the NVIDIA Omniverse platform for manufacturing applications. The role combines software development, AI model integration, and digital‑twin simulation to enable automated inspection, visualization and interactive control.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Python‑based tools and applications within NVIDIA Omniverse for industrial use cases.
• Integrate and deploy AI models (Computer Vision, VLM, LLM) into 3D simulation environments to support automated inspection, visualization and interactive control.
• Create data pipelines that connect IoT, PLC, MES and other real‑time systems to digital‑twin environments for monitoring and simulation.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, developers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, maintainable software solutions.
• Develop proof‑of‑concept solutions for manufacturing, inspection and logistics applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI or a related field.
• Professional experience in software development or AI application engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python; knowledge of C++ is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience deploying AI models such as Computer Vision, VLM or LLM.
• Solid understanding of APIs, system integration and data‑pipeline development.
• Interest in 3D simulation or digital‑twin technologies; experience with platforms such as Omniverse, Unity or Unreal Engine is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a team to turn concepts into functional prototypes.
