Software Engineer – Growth (Google Pay)

About the role

Google Pay’s Growth team in Singapore is looking for a Software Engineer to own and scale critical user‑facing features. You will work on end‑to‑end product areas, from designing high‑performance RPC interfaces to building responsive UI components, helping millions of users across India and beyond.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy features across mobile, web, and back‑end ecosystems with a focus on RPC integration and UI excellence.
• Lead technical design for back‑end services and data‑processing pipelines that support growth experiments.
• Ensure reliability and performance of features through data‑driven monitoring and optimisation.
• Collaborate with Product Management and UX teams to deliver end‑to‑end user experiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of software development experience in C++, Java, Python, or Go.
• Experience building systems that scale to a global user base.
• Ability to work with product and UX teams to drive feature delivery.
