About the role

A hands‑on individual contributor position within the Platform Team, focused on backend development, system integration and Kubernetes operations.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js/TypeScript backend applications, REST APIs and microservices.
Containerise applications with Docker, Podman or Containerd and manage Kubernetes manifests and Helm charts.
Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot services on Kubernetes, handling pods, services, ingress, DNS, networking, certificates and storage.
Support cluster bootstrapping, upgrades, patching and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Ansible/AWX).
Investigate incidents, remediate vulnerabilities and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures and runbooks.

Required profile

3–6 years of professional experience with Java (Spring Boot) and Node.js/TypeScript.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, relational databases and SQL.
Solid understanding of Docker/Podman, Kubernetes concepts (Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, PVs).
Proficiency with Git, branching workflows and code reviews.
Basic Linux administration, shell scripting and networking fundamentals (HTTP/S, DNS, TCP/IP, TLS).
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
