Software Engineer – Satellite Payloads & Space Systems

About the role

Transcelestial is looking for a Software Engineer to build full‑stack features for its satellite payloads and space systems. You will work on APIs, management tools, and user interfaces that enable the company’s laser‑communication network to deliver high‑speed internet worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack software components for satellite payloads and related tools.
• Collaborate with the Space Team to integrate control systems, run integration tests, and support deployments.
• Implement and improve APIs, management features, and user‑facing interfaces.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting for space‑software applications.

Required profile

• Singapore citizen or permanent resident.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in full‑stack development.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities, especially under time‑critical conditions.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and willing to go above and beyond.

Required skills

• Full‑stack development (frontend and backend).
• Experience building APIs and user interfaces.
• Ability to assess engineering trade‑offs and manage risk.
