Software Engineer – ServiceNow Development (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer specialized in ServiceNow development to join our team on a contract basis. The role involves designing, building, and deploying high‑quality software solutions that enhance business operations across Singapore.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop robust ServiceNow and AI‑driven software solutions aligned with business goals.
• Evaluate feasibility of proposed solutions by analysing requirements and problem definitions.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to understand workflows and translate them into effective designs.
• Test, deploy, and maintain software systems, preparing specifications and release plans to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Document solutions with flowcharts, diagrams, and code comments for maintainability and knowledge sharing.
• Demonstrate completed features to stakeholders and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Work collaboratively across teams, following agile practices and the RWS software development lifecycle.
• Investigate and resolve system issues, implementing corrective actions to improve reliability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience leading or contributing within software development teams.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C#, Java, Python and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns and system scalability.
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or LangChain.
