About the role
Aumovio, a spin-off of the Continental automotive group, develops sensor solutions, displays, braking and comfort systems and software for software-defined vehicles. As part of its Innovation team, the Software Integrator intern works alongside the R&D team on software development of innovative system solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop software applications and the necessary APIs with the R&D team
- Work on rapid prototypes when required
- Help implement, test and deploy prototypes into ready solutions
- Identify possible solutions and diagnostics for troubleshooting
- Conduct site surveys, collect data and run test procedures
- Integrate and implement solutions as demonstrators or in demo vehicles
Required profile
- Strong coding skills and demonstrable programming aptitude in Python and C/C++
- Experience with sensor technologies such as camera, radar, RGBD and UWB
- Experience with middleware such as DDS, MQTT and ROS 1 / ROS 2
- Experience with Git, Docker, Linux and Windows
Required skills
- Knowledge of object detection, tracking and identification (an advantage)
- Deep learning tools such as TensorFlow and PyTorch (an advantage)
- Professional software engineering practices: coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing and operations (an advantage)
