Software Specialist – Enterprise Applications Engineer

About the role

The Software Specialist (Engineer) will design, develop, test, and support enterprise applications that power Singapore Pools' betting platforms. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technology partners to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements, then create detailed design specifications.
• Develop new code or adapt existing code to implement enhancements and new solutions.
• Write and execute comprehensive unit‑test plans and performance‑test cases.
• Document test results, report bugs, and communicate impacts to the project team and vendors.
• Maintain the Incident Management process, log incidents, restore services, and monitor application health.
• Engage in the full lifecycle of application components from concept through stabilisation.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technical designs.
• Experience in end‑to‑end software development and application support.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and external vendors.
