Solution Architect (ArcGIS)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation and modernization of enterprise GIS solutions using Esri ArcGIS technologies. The role involves end‑to‑end ownership of geospatial projects, ensuring high availability, security and performance across production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and delivery of enterprise GIS projects from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
• Design, configure and optimise ArcGIS Enterprise components including Portal, Server, Data Store and Web Adaptor.
• Implement and maintain GIS solutions that meet high‑availability, security, backup, disaster‑recovery and performance standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate GIS services with other enterprise systems.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship and governance for GIS engineering teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, GIS, Geomatics, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Technical Lead, GIS Solution Architect or GIS Engineer.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise GIS projects across the full lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, governance and operational readiness for production‑critical GIS platforms.
