Staff Nurse – Full‑Time

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team at Green Avenue. The role involves delivering high‑quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, and supporting administrative functions within our nursing home.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily nursing operations as Nurse‑in‑Charge.
• Supervise and guide nursing staff during each shift.
• Conduct rounds, assess residents’ conditions, and provide timely interventions.
• Administer medications, perform senior nursing treatments, and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain accurate documentation, update nursing charts, and keep resident records up to date.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, physiotherapists, dietitians, and pharmacists.
• Participate in quality‑assurance, fire‑safety, and emergency‑response committees.
• Assign daily tasks, mentor junior staff, and assist with performance appraisals.

Required profile

• State‑registered nurse with Singapore Nursing Board registration.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) trained.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a nursing home or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and promote a positive work culture.

Required skills

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
