About the role
The hospital is looking for a Staff Nurse to join the Operating Theatre team. This junior position does not require prior experience and offers a full‑time schedule. The role focuses on assisting doctors and providing comprehensive peri‑operative care.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the doctor with examinations and patient assessments.
- Prepare and educate patients on surgery procedures.
- Provide pre‑ and post‑operative care and follow‑up support.
- Prepare the operating theatre and ensure surgical instruments are sterile and ready.
- Assist surgeons as a scrub or circulating nurse during procedures.
- Maintain high standards of infection control.
- Ensure accurate nursing documentation.
Required profile
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
- No prior experience required.
