Structural Project Engineer – Design & Build Projects

About the role

Our client, a leading design‑and‑build firm in Singapore, is seeking an experienced Structural Project Engineer to lead structural design and coordination for industrial, commercial and large‑scale building projects. You will work closely with consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate structural design and engineering works for building projects.
• Review structural drawings, calculations, specifications and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with structural consultants, architects, M&E consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
• Provide technical support for reinforced concrete, steel structures, foundations, slabs, beams and columns.
• Conduct site inspections, resolve design and construction issues, and ensure compliance with Singapore codes.
• Support the Project Manager in achieving schedule, quality and cost objectives.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in structural design, building construction or design‑and‑build projects, preferably in industrial, commercial, warehouse or large‑scale building sectors.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structures, and familiarity with Singapore statutory requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000 or SAFE.
• Technical, communication and coordination abilities.
