Supervisor & Construction General Foreman

About the role

Yong Tai Construction is seeking a Supervisor & Construction General Foreman to lead site planning and supervise daily construction activities at our Singapore project. The role involves coordinating with planners, managing workers, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining equipment and material flow.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise site work schedules.
• Update daily work status to the Planner.
• Attend daily coordination meetings.
• Work closely with the Planner on future activity planning.
• Manage daily activities efficiently and productively.
• Monitor daily work logs of all assigned subordinates.
• Schedule worker overtime during peak periods or as needed.
• Enforce company and government work and safety rules strictly.
• Requisition necessary materials and stock replacement parts to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain equipment and surrounding areas in sound working order.
• Oversee on‑the‑job training of probationary workers.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies, procedures and practices.

Required profile

• Ability to monitor daily work logs of subordinates.
• Capability to schedule overtime when necessary.
• Commitment to enforce safety and work regulations.
