System Analyst (Banking)

About the role

We are looking for a System Analyst specialized in banking payments to lead technical analysis for regional payment solutions. You will translate business requirements into scalable designs, oversee system architecture, and ensure successful implementation and post‑deployment support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical analysis for regional payment solutions, converting business needs into scalable technical designs.
• Oversee end‑to‑end system architecture, solution implementation, and post‑deployment support.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and vendors to design, review, and optimise technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain technical specifications and design documentation.
• Review vendor deliverables, conduct quality assurance, and manage testing phases (Unit, System, Integration, SIT, UAT, production readiness).
• Analyse and improve SDLC processes, provide recommendations, and report progress to project managers and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Cross‑Border Payments and Reporting Plus (CBPR+) standards.
• Familiarity with MEPS+ (MAS Electronic Payment System) and domestic payment clearing and settlement processes.
• Solid understanding of SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 MX message standards, including mapping and migration strategies.
