System Analyst – Contract

About the role

We are looking for a System Analyst to join our IT team on a contract basis. In this senior capacity you will analyse, design and implement technology solutions that support business operations and strategic goals, working closely with stakeholders, developers and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end systems analysis and design, including requirements gathering, process modelling and solution architecture.
• Collaborate with business units to translate operational needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Oversee system integration, ensuring seamless interoperability between internal and external platforms.
• Manage user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and project team members.
• Monitor system performance and drive initiatives to improve reliability, security and scalability.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation such as business requirements, functional specs, design documents and test plans.
• Coordinate with external vendors and integrators to meet delivery timelines and budgets.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in systems analysis, IT project delivery or a similar role, preferably in a large enterprise or public sector.
• Proven experience managing full project lifecycles from requirements to post‑implementation support.
• Hands‑on experience with Java, JavaScript, Angular and SQL.
• Good understanding of SDLC methodologies (waterfall, agile or hybrid).
• Familiarity with Singapore government digital services or whole‑of‑government IT frameworks is a plus.
