About the role

Join TikTok's Recommendation Architecture team as a Tech Lead, driving the design and implementation of high‑performance infrastructure that powers personalized video recommendations for millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑performance, highly available, and flexible architecture design and implement high‑quality code for complex business scenarios.
• Build a recommendation system analysis platform to support product‑level problem analysis and debugging.
• Identify and optimise weak links in existing business systems to improve overall architecture quality, performance and stability.
• Abstract common business architecture to increase reuse of core capabilities and support rapid product iteration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience building scalable systems.
• Strong communication skills, ownership mindset and drive.
