Technical Governance Manager (Data Centre)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Governance Manager to lead operational governance, audit and process excellence across our regional data centre operations. The role will work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance, drive standardisation and continuously improve service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute independent audits of operational processes and controls.
• Assess compliance with operating procedures, governance standards and service management practices.
• Identify process gaps, risks and areas of non‑compliance.
• Prepare audit findings and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain operational governance frameworks.
• Drive process standardisation and consistency across regional teams.
• Establish and enhance policies, procedures and operational controls.
• Promote best practices and operational excellence initiatives.
• Review existing workflows and implement optimisation initiatives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline.
• Partner with operations, audit and leadership teams across the region.
• Provide guidance on operational standards, controls and compliance requirements.
• Ensure effective adoption of ITIL‑based processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
• Monitor process effectiveness and service performance against agreed standards.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in Data Centre Operations, IT Operations, IT Audit, Service Assurance or Process Governance.
• Proven ability to independently conduct audits, reviews and operational assessments.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, audit methodologies, governance and compliance practices.
• Experience driving process improvement, operational excellence or quality initiatives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently within a lean and collaborative team environment.
