Technical Sales Manager – Flooring Solutions

About the role

Our client, an established construction materials and solutions company, is seeking a Technical Sales Manager to lead the growth of its Flooring Solutions business in Singapore. The role combines technical sales, business development, project management and customer relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales and business development activities for Flooring Solutions across Singapore.
• Develop and maintain relationships with main contractors, developers, architects, consultants and flooring applicators.
• Identify new business opportunities and manage projects from specification to award.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and technical submissions in collaboration with internal teams.
• Conduct site visits, product presentations and technical discussions with customers and stakeholders.
• Manage sales pipeline, track opportunities and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
• Coordinate with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer support.
• Provide technical support, follow up on enquiries, project issues and product requirements.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and upcoming construction projects to uncover new opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop long‑term accounts.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Building, Construction, Business or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in technical sales, construction materials, flooring or building products.
• Good understanding of construction projects and B2B sales processes.
• Singapore Class 3 driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
• Existing network within the construction, building materials or flooring industry is an advantage.

What we offer

• Basic salary SGD 4,000–7,000 per month (depending on experience).
• Transport allowance up to SGD 1,200 per month.
• Mobile allowance SGD 120 per month.
