Technology Risk Management Manager

About the role

PwC is seeking a Technology Risk Management Manager to lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of technology and AI‑related risks across its services. The role combines solid risk judgement, practical technology awareness, and strong stakeholder leadership to ensure responsible adoption of digital and emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Technology Risk Assessments (TRAs), including scoping, risk identification, control evaluation, documentation and remediation recommendations.
• Support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of technology risk management processes, with an initial focus on AI governance.
• Develop and maintain technology risk policies, standards, guidance materials and templates.
• Assess risks associated with Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Machine Learning and other emerging technologies.
• Lead or support risk reviews of AI‑enabled solutions, covering use cases, data handling, model limitations, human oversight, transparency, security and third‑party dependencies.
• Contribute to AI governance processes, translating responsible AI principles and regulatory expectations into practical controls.
• Prepare risk reports, dashboards and metrics for leadership and governance forums.
• Analyse risk trends and identify opportunities to improve risk management practices and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to combine sound risk judgement with practical technology awareness.
• Strong stakeholder leadership and collaboration skills across technology, business and risk functions.
• Experience in leading technology risk assessments and implementing risk management frameworks.
• Familiarity with AI governance, regulatory expectations and responsible AI principles.
