Temporary Dental Assistant – 3‑Month Contract, Up to $13/hr

About the role

This short‑term position supports the dental team at East Polyclinic for a three‑month period. Training is provided, making it ideal for fresh graduates or entry‑level candidates looking to gain hands‑on experience in a busy clinic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the dental operator during operative, surgical, endodontic, and prosthodontic procedures.
• Prepare and handle dental instruments and equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
• Perform dental radiography under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dental fridge and monitor temperature of dental materials.
• Execute designated emergency response tasks as required.
• Undertake any additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Fresh or entry‑level candidate with a diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Willingness to learn and follow strict infection‑control and safety protocols.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced clinical setting.
