Test Automation Engineer - E-Payment System

About the role

The System Architecture and Assurance Division is looking for an energetic and committed Test Automation Engineer to own the end-to-end testing of an integrated e-payment system. The role covers the full testing lifecycle, from test planning and test case design through test execution and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business and system requirements for testability and define test cases to ensure good test coverage
• Prepare the test environment and run test cases
• Develop test automation solutions that support the CI/CD pipeline and continuously improve test efficiency
• Log and track defects until they are closed
• Run test reviews with internal and external stakeholders
• Perform root cause analysis on production and user acceptance defects and close test gaps

Required profile

• Engineering or Information Technology background
• At least 3 years of experience executing tests and building test automation for UI-based or embedded devices and/or back-office systems, across the full development lifecycle
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Software testing certification preferred

Required skills

• Experience with Micro-payments or Automatic Fare Collection systems using smart cards (SIT, UAT, performance testing) is an advantage
• Bonus: cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, hands-on DevSecOps, and a curious approach to new technologies
