Test Maintenance Supervisor – Electronics Manufacturing

About the role

As a Test Maintenance Supervisor you will lead a team of maintenance professionals responsible for the reliability of production test equipment, automation systems and robotic handlers in a high‑volume electronics manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a maintenance team to meet equipment uptime, yield, safety and productivity targets.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programmes.
• Support installation, calibration, qualification and ongoing maintenance of test equipment and automation systems.
• Partner with Production, Process Engineering, Automation and Equipment Engineering to troubleshoot issues and minimise downtime.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects focused on OEE, cost optimisation and yield enhancement.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, LOTO and safety standards, and support audits and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance, test equipment support or high‑volume production.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a clean‑room environment and on a 12‑hour night shift (7:30 pm – 7:45 am).

Required skills

• Knowledge of automation systems, robotics and PLCs.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
