Trade Operations Analyst (Imports-DBRP) - IBG Operations

About the role

Group Operations manages the majority of the bank's operational processes and delivers services across its banking channels. This analyst position handles daily trade operations transactions within the Imports-DBRP and IBG Operations functions, based at DBS Asia Gateway.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily trade operations transactions in line with agreed service standards.
• Liaise with business units or customers for instructions needed to complete a transaction.
• Follow up with internal and external counterparties on transaction queries.
• Perform day-end reconciliation of transactions.
• Adhere to risk and control guidelines and policies.
• Assist in projects to improve work processes.
• Carry out ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Supervising Manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in banking operations, especially trade operations.
• Self-motivated team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Meticulous and detail-oriented, able to spot ways to improve operational efficiency.
• Able to work on SG public holidays when needed.

Required skills

• Familiarity with MS Office applications such as Outlook, Excel and Word.
