Trainee Educational Therapist – Full‑time & Flexi

About the role

Join a specialist training programme to become an Educational Therapist, supporting learners with dyslexia and other learning challenges. You will work in small group settings, assess progress, and help students reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver group lessons (5‑6 students) and conduct bi‑annual assessments.
• Design teaching methods and instructional materials tailored to diverse learner needs.
• Monitor academic progress, write progress reports, and discuss outcomes with parents.
• Lead Meet‑the‑Parents sessions twice a year.
• Participate in awareness talks, training courses, curriculum design, action research, and pilot studies.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the organisation.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree from a recognised university (any discipline).
• Teaching experience in mainstream schools is an advantage.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekday evenings (four nights per week) and weekends.
• Positive learning attitude, high drive and initiative, and passion for working with children of all ages.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using online meeting platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet.
