Training & Development Manager (Retail)

About the role

Join a leading luxury watch retailer as the Training & Development Manager, responsible for shaping a learning culture across boutique and corporate teams. You will design and deliver learning strategies that enhance employee capability, drive service excellence, and improve overall customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual Learning & Development strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct Learning Needs Analyses to identify capability gaps and recommend effective solutions.
• Partner with Retail Operations, HR, Brand Partners and business leaders to implement talent development initiatives.
• Design, facilitate and deliver training programmes, leadership workshops, onboarding and coaching sessions.
• Perform boutique visits, field coaching and customer observations to boost sales performance.
• Support succession planning, career development and competency framework creation.
• Measure training effectiveness using evaluations, KPIs, mystery shopping and stakeholder feedback.
• Manage training budgets, external providers and learning resources.
• Collaborate on compliance, system awareness, boutique openings and regional learning projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Business, Education or related field.
• 5–8 years of L&D or training experience, preferably in retail, luxury, hospitality or service industries.
• Proven ability to conduct needs analysis, design programmes and coach employees.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Project management, analytical and organisational capabilities.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the region.
