Transport Planner – Bus Strategy, Infrastructure & Priority

About the role

The Transport Planner will support the development of new bus transit initiatives, including express bus services and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) systems, to enhance public‑transport connectivity across Singapore. The role involves analysing travel demand, engaging with stakeholders, and shaping sustainable transit solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and plan new bus services and BRT corridors.
• Analyse demand data and travel patterns to identify transit opportunities.
• Collaborate with government agencies, industry partners and major employers to understand commuting needs.
• Design routes, stop locations and supporting infrastructure, and assess impacts on the existing bus network.
• Develop communication narratives, support public‑engagement activities and incorporate stakeholder feedback.

Required profile

• Degree in Communications, Urban Planning, Transport/Geography, Public Policy, Civil Engineering or related fields.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
