UI Developer (Angular) – Contract (1 yr) in Singapore

About the role

We are looking for a skilled UI Developer specialized in Angular to join our team on a 1‑year contract, extendable based on performance. The role focuses on building robust, scalable, and secure front‑end applications for a fast‑growing product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Angular‑based front‑end applications, ensuring high performance and security.
• Implement responsive, intuitive user interfaces across devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product owners to translate designs into high‑quality code.
• Participate in the full application lifecycle: coding, debugging, testing, and deployment.
• Create reusable UI components and libraries to accelerate development.
• Ensure technical feasibility of designs and optimise applications for speed and scalability.
• Apply secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities such as XSS and CSRF.
• Contribute to code reviews and stay current with emerging front‑end technologies.

Required profile

• Immediate availability or notice period of less than one month.
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work in an agile environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality code.

Required skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Expertise in Angular framework.
• Familiarity with state‑management libraries such as RxJS.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and design systems.
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Karma, Jasmine) – a plus.
• Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, npm scripts) and package managers (npm, Yarn).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies.
