Vice President, Global Process Innovation

About the role

The Vice President, Global Process Innovation leads a worldwide team that creates, pilots, patents and scales process improvements to enhance guest experiences and drive operational efficiency. This senior position combines visionary leadership with disciplined execution to turn ideas into measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a multi‑disciplinary innovation organization covering process engineering, data science, robotics, applied AI and emerging technologies.
• Define vision, operating model and performance standards while developing leadership capability within the team.
• Own a portfolio of high‑impact initiatives, prioritize by strategic impact, ROI, risk and scalability, and ensure smooth transition from concept to operational deployment.
• Eliminate pilot stagnation by establishing clear stage‑gates, success metrics and adoption plans.
• Act as trusted advisor to corporate and property leadership, translating business challenges into actionable innovation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify pain points, co‑create solutions and lead execution through production deployment.
• Represent Sands with technology partners, startups, research institutions and universities, shaping strategic partnerships.
• Develop lean processes for idea identification, evaluation, funding, piloting, patenting and implementation.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in business innovation, engineering or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering or a scientific discipline; Master’s preferred.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale programs and complex projects.
• Experience advising senior executives and influencing strategic decisions.
