Vice President of Operations

About the role

Skyworks is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead a multidisciplinary team that produces Acoustic Wave Filter products for the wireless communications market. This senior leader will drive manufacturing excellence in a fast‑paced, 24x7 environment while collaborating closely with R&D, business units, and corporate support functions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct planning, production, equipment engineering, maintenance, and support teams across multiple shifts.
• Manage the transfer of products from design through fabrication, defining and achieving yield goals.
• Prepare and obtain approval for capital, expense, and human‑resource plans aligned with corporate objectives.
• Ensure quality, reliability, delivery, and cost targets are met or exceeded.
• Lead process‑engineering initiatives to sustain processes and improve yields for Acoustic Wave Filter technologies.
• Collaborate with R&D, program managers, and marketing to launch new products and technologies on schedule.
• Drive capacity, investment, and cost‑reduction planning for the product portfolio.
• Promote a safe, healthy, and quality‑focused work environment.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in high‑volume manufacturing or semiconductor production.
• Track record of managing multi‑shift, 24x7 operations with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong financial acumen for capital, expense, and workforce planning.
• Demonstrated ability to improve yield, quality, and cost performance.
• Experience working closely with R&D and product development teams.
