About the role
The Asian School of the Environment at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore invites an internationally‑recognised scholar to join as a Visiting Professor in Geophysics and Seismology. The appointment will enhance the school’s research and teaching portfolio and contribute to the Earth Observatory of Singapore’s mission.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and seminars to undergraduate and graduate students within ASE.
- Co‑advise and mentor junior researchers on their projects.
- Collaborate with ASE and EOS faculty to organise conferences, workshops, joint publications and research proposals.
Required profile
- Ph.D. in a relevant discipline from a reputable university.
- Strong expertise in geophysics and seismology with high international standing.
- Proven record of research publications in top‑tier journals.
- Experience teaching at the university level.
- Excellent communication abilities.
