VP, End User Engineering Lead - Future Ready Technology

About the role

Group Technology at DBS manages the majority of the bank's operational processes and delivers services across multiple banking channels. This role leads end-user service engineering within Future Ready Technology, with accountability for the strategy, architecture, engineering, governance and lifecycle management of enterprise endpoint platforms, while driving technology modernization. It is based at the DBS Asia Hub and is a regular, full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Define the end-user services engineering and multi-year roadmap aligned to business priorities and technology standards.
• Lead engineering teams in delivering Windows and macOS endpoint services, security controls and platform modernization.
• Set up and maintain SOE governance, change management and problem management frameworks, acting as gatekeeper for SOE changes.
• Oversee audit responses, risk remediation and compliance requirements.
• Drive endpoint security initiatives such as application control, OS lifecycle management and Windows/macOS hardening.
• Partner with infrastructure, security and business stakeholders on service reliability.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of endpoint engineers, providing technical guidance and supporting career growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering (or similar), or equivalent professional experience and education.
• Well organized, process focused and self-driven, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in a banking environment preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people at all levels.

Required skills

• Deep technical knowledge of endpoint engineering for Windows and macOS, SOE design, configuration management and endpoint lifecycle management (provisioning, maintenance, decommissioning).
• Research into emerging technologies and testing of new technologies before deployment.
• Program and project management methodologies and tools; proven track record managing IT projects.
• Excellent analytical, management and planning skills.
