VP, Product Manager (Secured Lending), Consumer Banking

About the role

DBS Consumer Banking Group is looking for a VP, Product Manager (Secured Lending) to lead the strategic direction and growth of its secured lending portfolio. The role directly oversees three core areas: the Singapore mortgage book for affluent customers, the overseas property financing (OPF) portfolio and the commercial mortgage portfolio, driving growth and profitable expansion across them.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and execute strategies for profitable growth across the Singapore mortgage (affluent wealth clients), overseas property financing and commercial/industrial mortgage portfolios
• Analyse macro market trends, interest rates, liquidity and property markets in Singapore and key overseas regions to inform portfolio strategy
• Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities to expand market share and profitability, and drive budgetary achievement and growth targets
• Lead the full product lifecycle, from proposition design to post-launch optimisation
• Develop data-driven acquisition strategies, marketing campaigns and product bundles, using analytics and AI/ML propensity models to refine targeting
• Build and maintain relationships with internal (Credit, Legal & Compliance, Segments) and external stakeholders, and co-lead squads in the Mortgage Performance Cell
• Prepare management reports for executives and lead and develop a team of specialists

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in product management, preferably in secured lending or a related financial product
• Experience leading and developing a team is a plus

Required skills

• Understanding of risk management, credit and secured lending principles
• Knowledge of compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies
• Strong analytical mindset with data-led strategy experience
• Excellent communication and stakeholder partnership skills
