VP, Relationship Manager, Private Banking (NRI Market)

About the role

DBS Private Banking offers a full-service, personalised banking service supported by experienced investment advisors, network partnerships and global institution partners, building long-term relationships with Private Banking clients in Asia. This role sits in the Consumer Banking Group and focuses on the NRI (Non-Resident Indian) market.

Key responsibilities

• Grow the business through proactive acquisition and retention of HNW/UHNW clients within the NRI market.
• Implement a geographically focused strategy aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Build a deep understanding of clients' investment needs.
• Provide sound financial advice to clients in partnership with Investment Counsellors and Product Specialists.
• Act as a strong advisor in clients' wealth journeys and continuously strengthen client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with the bank's and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with at least 8-12 years of relevant experience.
• Sound knowledge of private banking products and solutions.
• Deep expertise of the NRI market with relevant networks.
• Good understanding of banking compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong client focus.
• Team player able to collaborate widely with internal stakeholders to drive client acquisition and retention.
