VP System Analyst, Group Technology

About the role

The Vice President, System Analyst for Group Technology at United Overseas Bank Limited partners with business users, analysts and project teams to design, implement and support banking solutions across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business users, business analysts and project team members throughout project initiation, implementation and post‑implementation support.
• Gather and analyse business requirements, suggest alternative solutions based on best practices and industry standards, and influence outcomes.
• Develop and review functional specifications, requirement traceability matrices, and technical design specifications to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Work closely with architects, developers and vendors to deliver solutions, verify code releases and support testing phases (SIT, UAT, post‑implementation).
• Maintain application documentation, monitor production cut‑over, and provide timely incident resolution and support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• More than 5 years of system analysis, testing or project management experience in banking or financial services.
• Proven ability to facilitate requirements sessions and create collaborative environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and documentation skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and teamwork abilities.
