VP, Treasures Desk Head IOS (Offshore - ASEAN), Consumer Banking

About the role

DBS Treasures is a leading wealth management platform in Singapore serving both onshore and offshore affluent clients, offering a full range of banking and wealth management services. This position is the head of the Treasures desk for the Offshore ASEAN market, reporting to the Consumer Banking Group. It is a regular, full-time relationship management role based at the Treasures Centre in Newton.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the single point of accountability for the assigned centres for operations and service delivery.
• Review and implement work processes, procedures and audit controls to meet internal and external regulatory requirements.
• Manage the customer base and the operating complexity of the centre.
• Lead and drive sales performance individually and as a team to meet business objectives and sales targets.
• Ensure needs-based selling and service compliance with regulatory and internal audit/security requirements.
• Deploy resources effectively to maximise productivity.
• Cultivate a high-performance culture to attract, develop and retain sales and service staff.

Required profile

• Degree holder with at least 8 years of experience in banking and finance, preferably with a strong sales management track record.
• Proven success leading sales management teams, with at least 4 years of managerial experience, ideally in the offshore ASEAN market.
• Prior high-net-worth client engagement experience in the ASEAN region.
• Good knowledge of financial costing, including P&L management and business marketing strategies.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and people management skills across all levels of staff.
