VP/SVP, Behavioural Scientist, Transformation & Data

About the role

The Transformation & Data Group COO at DBS is looking for a Behavioural Scientist to join its Customer Experience (CX) Strategy team. The team drives behavioural science projects across the bank, using behavioural insights to uncover biases and barriers behind customer decisions, design behaviourally-informed interventions for experimentation and upskill the bank on behavioural science. The role is based in DBS Asia Central.

Key responsibilities

• Chart and drive the Behavioural Science adoption strategy for the bank
• Develop narratives from experiments to position the team as a trusted partner in driving behaviour change and business impact
• Advise on diagnosing behavioural barriers, biases and heuristics for CX and business problems, designing behaviourally-informed interventions, and setting up and analysing (quasi-)experiments
• Manage stakeholders from various business units to test or execute behaviourally-informed interventions
• Develop and deliver Behavioural Science training

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience
• Strong communication skills and extensive experience engaging executive leadership teams
• Degree in Economics, Social or Cognitive Psychology, Behavioural Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, Consumer Behaviour or similar preferred but not required
• Deep expertise and advanced knowledge of behavioural or psychological science or behavioural economics
• Interest in CX and customer research
• A self-starter and collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
