About the role
A Website Developer designs, builds and maintains modern websites, ensuring they are user‑friendly, visually appealing and performant. The role involves collaborating with clients to translate business needs into functional online experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Gather and analyse client requirements and project objectives.
- Design website layouts, user interfaces and interactive elements.
- Develop sites using appropriate coding languages, frameworks and content management systems.
- Optimize pages for responsiveness, speed and cross‑browser compatibility.
- Integrate multimedia assets such as images, videos and animations.
- Implement features including forms, databases and e‑commerce functionality.
- Perform regular updates, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Stay current with web development trends and best practices.
