Wholesale Trade Manager

About the role

The Wholesale Trade Manager will lead and coordinate all wholesale trading activities for the company in Singapore. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key customer relationships, and ensuring efficient procurement, inventory, and distribution processes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and oversee wholesale trading operations.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
• Identify and establish relationships with new distributors, retailers and corporate customers.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and business partners.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms and supply agreements.
• Monitor sales performance, prepare forecasts and business reports.
• Coordinate procurement to ensure timely product availability.
• Manage inventory levels in collaboration with warehouse and logistics teams.
• Oversee order processing, delivery schedules and customer fulfilment.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activities to uncover new opportunities.
• Prepare annual sales budgets, operating plans and financial forecasts.
• Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate wholesale sales and operations staff.
• Resolve customer complaints and operational issues promptly.
• Collaborate with finance, marketing, procurement and logistics to improve performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, International Business or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in wholesale trading, distribution, sales management or business development.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Good knowledge of wholesale operations, inventory management and supply‑chain processes.
