Accessories Designer (Bags & Soft Goods)

About the role

We are seeking a Product Designer specialized in bags, accessories and soft goods to join The Paper Bunny. This physical product design role involves taking concepts from sketch through to sampling and production, ensuring each piece balances form, function and intention.

Key responsibilities

• Research market, material and design trends relevant to bags, accessories and soft goods.
• Design items for seasonal and core collections, creating detailed technical drawings and production‑ready specifications.
• Develop product concepts from ideation through sampling to final production.
• Source and propose materials, trims, colours and finishes that align with the brand aesthetic.
• Collaborate with suppliers and factories to manage sampling, revisions and production feasibility.
• Work with the product team on quality checks to ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic and quality standards.
• Support development of packaging, labels and other market‑ready elements.

Required profile

• Singapore citizen or permanent resident.
• Background in fashion design, industrial design or product development for physical goods.
• Relevant experience designing accessories, bags or soft goods.
• Strong interest in fashion and lifestyle trends.
• Detail‑oriented, organized and able to balance creativity with execution.
• Collaborative team player with clear communication skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with materials, construction and sampling processes.
• Ability to produce clear technical drawings and specifications.
