Accountant – Senior Executive / Assistant Manager

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Accountant who will act as a Senior Executive or Assistant Manager within our finance team. The role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting strategic planning in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations and full sets of accounts.
• Manage sales and purchase transactions, AR/AP ageing, fixed assets, lease schedules and accruals.
• Support intercompany transactions, cash‑flow management and liquidity monitoring.
• Guide Accounts Executives to meet accounting deliverables on time.
• Assist in monthly consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Coordinate documentation for group and statutory audits and respond to audit queries.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, SFRS, tax regulations and internal policies.
• Identify risks, improve internal controls and drive finance system enhancements.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in consolidation and financial reporting, preferably in listed or group companies.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and SFRS.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent teamwork, communication and organisational abilities.
