Adjunct Associate Professor – Urban Economics (Part‑time)

About the role

Singapore Management University’s School of Economics is seeking a part‑time Adjunct Associate Professor to teach Urban Economics and Policy. The successful candidate will join a vibrant research community and deliver teaching modules in the upcoming academic term, starting 12 January 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a mutually agreed number of lecture sections each term, using interactive and blended learning methods.
• Prepare and update lecture notes, case studies, and examination materials.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development where appropriate.

Required profile

• Minimum Master’s degree in Economics or a closely related field; PhD strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching, preferably with experience in active or blended pedagogy.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage small‑class, seminar‑style environments.
