Architectural Associate – Project Lead

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Architectural Associate to lead and guide projects through all phases—from pre‑design to delivery. You will work closely with the Design Director and multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects meet client expectations, budgets, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee design, technical compliance, contracts, and execution across all project stages.
• Lead pre‑design studies, feasibility analyses, and zoning assessments.
• Develop conceptual and detailed architectural designs, material specifications, and ensure alignment with client briefs.
• Produce and manage tender documentation, contract documents, and construction drawings.
• Supervise and coordinate project teams, providing guidance and support to meet timelines.
• Act as primary liaison with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and regulatory approvals.
• Prepare fee proposals, contracts, and manage project budgets and payments.
• Conduct site inspections and verify that documentation matches project specifications.

Required profile

• 8–12 years of relevant architectural experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (or equivalent accredited qualification).
• Deep knowledge of local building codes and planning parameters, especially for complex mixed‑development projects.
• Proven ability to lead project teams and resolve issues efficiently.
• Strong analytical capabilities combined with effective management skills.
• Collaborative, strategic thinker focused on optimal project outcomes.
