About the role
Raffles Medical Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Nurse Clinician to lead and coordinate comprehensive nursing care across Paediatrics, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Labour & Delivery. The role involves advanced clinical decision‑making, mentorship of junior staff, and ensuring the delivery of safe, evidence‑based care.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate and oversee nursing care for Paediatrics, NICU and Labour & Delivery patients.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate advanced nursing interventions in line with current clinical standards.
- Provide clinical supervision, guidance and expertise to nursing staff.
- Act as a clinical resource for patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Mentor junior nurses and conduct regular teaching sessions, in‑service training and competency assessments.
- Lead staff performance reviews and support professional development.
- Contribute to the development and review of clinical protocols, SOPs and care pathways.
- Participate in audits, quality‑improvement projects, research activities and case reviews.
Required profile
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Advanced Diploma in Paediatric Nursing (preferred).
- Valid Practising Certificate from the Singapore Nursing Board.
- At least 5 years of paediatric nursing experience and 2 years as an Assistant Nurse Clinician.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and good knowledge of regulatory standards.
Required skills
- Valid BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification.
- Valid AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certification.
