Assistant/Manager, Programme Operations

About the role

The Assistant Manager / Manager, Programme Operations supports WWF‑Singapore’s Conservation & Science portfolio by bridging programme management and operational execution. Working with senior leadership, thematic leads and project managers, the role ensures that conservation initiatives are delivered efficiently, consistently, and in line with organisational priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Apply WWF programme management standards to support delivery of Singapore‑based and regional conservation outcomes.
• Identify, synthesize and escalate risks and operational bottlenecks, coordinating solutions across teams.
• Ensure timely milestone delivery and alignment with organisational priorities.
• Coordinate budgets, funding and expenditure reporting with Finance and programme teams.
• Develop and implement SOPs, contracting, procurement and inter‑office agreements to streamline project delivery.
• Contribute to global reporting on impact and contributions.
• Promote a culture of learning, adaptive management and continuous improvement.
• Strengthen internal systems, SOPs and workflows throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Support digital transformation and data‑system initiatives to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of financial or programme management experience in an international organisation, audit firm or charity with complex donor requirements.
• Strong knowledge of project accounting and programme operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
