Associate – KYC Analyst – Client Service Group

About the role

Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking is seeking an Associate to join its Client Service Group KYC Team. You will be responsible for performing KYC due‑diligence and AML checks for Asia‑Pacific and Middle‑East clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and supporting the front office.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct KYC due‑diligence on new and existing relationships for Asia‑Pacific and Middle‑East jurisdictions as a Maker or Checker.
• Screen clients for Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) and adverse news that could affect the bank’s reputation.
• Liaise with Front Office and the Porto Team to collect required KYC documentation.
• Escalate complex cases to local Compliance or Head Office Financial Security for validation.
• Maintain static client data in the KYC database and ensure accurate MIS reporting.
• Perform monthly reconciliation of KYC status versus opened accounts.
• Participate in projects, conduct UAT testing, and carry out ad‑hoc screenings as assigned.
• Share KYC knowledge and provide guidance to junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance or a related field.
• Prior experience in KYC/CDD, preferably within Corporate Investment Banking.
• Good understanding of AML/CFT frameworks and KYC documentation processes.
• Familiarity with KYC regulations in Asia (HKMA, MAS, CBRC, PBOC, FSC).
• Strong verbal communication in English and Mandarin, with reading capability in Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
