Bar Manager – Luxury Hotel Bar

About the role

The Bar Manager leads the bar at NoMad Singapore, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere, high‑quality service and a distinctive beverage programme that reflects the brand. This role combines operational oversight with creative cocktail development to position the bar as a destination within the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations, maintaining smooth service and high standards of quality.
• Manage guest engagement and the overall atmosphere to deliver memorable experiences.
• Develop and refresh the beverage programme, including cocktails, spirits, wines and non‑alcoholic offerings.
• Create signature cocktails that align with the NoMad brand identity.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements.
• Lead, train and develop the bar team, fostering professionalism and teamwork.
• Manage staffing, scheduling and productivity to meet operational needs.
• Control bar revenue, beverage cost, inventory levels and wastage.
• Collaborate with kitchen, service, marketing and F&B teams for seamless operations and promotions.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a bar team in a hotel or upscale hospitality setting.
• Strong understanding of beverage trends, seasonality and guest preferences.
• Ability to maintain brand standards in quality, presentation and consistency.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a visible presence on the floor.
• Track record of driving financial performance and cost control.
