Consultant – Business Technology

About the role

Join Capgemini Invent’s Business Technology practice and help financial services organisations make smarter technology decisions. As a Consultant you will work in small, high‑performing teams, directly with senior client leaders, tackling complex, multi‑year transformation programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Large Program Steering – establish a control‑tower for visibility and governance across business and IT.
• Enterprise Architecture – design technology blueprints that guide investment decisions and ensure a scalable, coherent IT landscape.
• IT Cost & Value Management – analyse technology portfolios, rationalise spending and build compelling investment cases.
• AI at Scale – develop strategy, operating models and governance for responsible deployment of generative AI in regulated environments.

Required profile

• 1–4 years of experience in management consulting, IT strategy or a corporate transformation office.
• Hands‑on experience in at least one core area (program governance, enterprise architecture, IT operating model design, IT financial management or AI strategy).
• Strong analytical and structured thinking with the ability to present complex issues clearly to executives.
• Comfortable leading workshops, contributing to steering committees and delivering defensible outputs.
• Degree in business, technology or a related field and a keen curiosity for technology.
• Experience in financial services or a strong motivation to develop expertise in the sector is a plus.
