Cyber Threat Analyst (Level 2) – Multiple Openings

About the role

We are seeking experienced Cyber Threat Analysts (Level 2) to strengthen security operations and incident response for critical infrastructure clients. You will work on escalated alerts, conduct deep investigations, and support end‑to‑end response activities in a mission‑critical technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle escalated security alerts from SIEM, EDR, network monitoring and cloud platforms.
• Perform detailed investigations, root‑cause analysis and impact assessment.
• Support full incident response lifecycle, including containment, eradication and remediation.
• Enrich threat intelligence, conduct IOC‑based hunting and document incidents.
• Collaborate with L1 analysts and broader cyber security operations teams.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to security playbooks.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging threats and attack techniques.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a SOC, CERT/CIRT, incident response or similar cyber security operations function.
• Proven experience in security investigations, log analysis, event correlation and incident scoping.
• Hands‑on exposure to phishing, malware, credential compromise, misconfigurations and suspicious network activity.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure, with willingness to support 12‑hour shift arrangements.

Required skills

• SIEM, EDR and SOAR platforms.
• MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, CVSS and OWASP Top 10 frameworks.
• Python, Bash or PowerShell scripting (basic).
• Log analysis and threat intelligence enrichment.
• IOC hunting and incident documentation.
