Data Center Infrastructure Specialist

About the role

NVIDIA is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Specialist to join its Professional Services team. You will work closely with customers, partners, and internal groups to design, plan, and deploy large‑scale data‑center projects that power deep learning and analytics workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data‑center infrastructure solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure successful deployment of NVIDIA products.
• Perform datacenter planning activities such as floor‑plan creation, rack elevation, and simulation.
• Plan cable deployment, including connection counts, port assignments, and timing, following standard methodologies.
• Deploy, configure, and support NVIDIA hardware and software in customer environments.
• Validate and update work instructions for all datacenter activities.
• Provide input for data‑center standards updates and participate in project calls.
• Document processes, maintain event logs, and oversee on‑site work performed by partners or third‑party vendors.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a data‑center infrastructure or field service engineer.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• In‑depth knowledge of data‑center environments, servers, and network equipment.
• Extensive experience installing, monitoring, and maintaining data‑center hardware.
• Strong understanding of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel for on‑site engagements.
