Director of Finance

About the role

The Director of Finance will serve as the strategic financial leader for Frasers House, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Singapore. Reporting to senior management, you will shape and execute financial strategies that support the brand’s service standards and drive profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the annual operating budget, aligning it with the property’s business plan and brand objectives.
• Provide analytical support for budget reviews, identifying cost‑saving and productivity opportunities.
• Forecast sales, expenses and wages, monitor actual performance against forecasts, and recommend corrective actions.
• Implement robust accounting and operational controls to safeguard assets and improve profitability.
• Lead the finance team, fostering a culture of integrity, sound decision‑making and continuous improvement.
• Analyse financial data and market trends to inform strategic planning and business development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (or a Master’s degree with relevant experience).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance and accounting, preferably within hospitality or a similar service‑oriented industry.
• Proven ability to develop budgets, conduct financial analysis and drive cost‑efficiency initiatives.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with a track record of influencing cross‑functional teams.
